Agile Denver is excited to announce our first annual conference, Mile High Agile 2011: Elevating Agility. Our one-day conference was created to further Agile Denver’s mission of creating and sustaining the world’s best agile community. We foster this by creating opportunities for people to connect to other agilists, user groups, events, jobs, technical communities and vendors. Agile Denver has been the heart of the agile community in Colorado and we are in our 11th year and still growing. This conference will extend your agile knowledge regardless of your role or experience level in your organization.
When: April 7, 2011 8AM – 6 PM
Where: Denver Merchandise Mart, Denver, CO
There will be five conference tracks covering a wealth of topics:
- Adopting & transitioning to agile: looking to learn about the benefits agile software development can bring? Or maybe you’ve already started but seek more guidance and inspiration? This is the track for you.
- Technical practices and tools: the success of agile processes can be amplified with the right technical practices and tools. This track explores this dynamic theme.
- Agile product and project practices: are you developing a new product or maintaining a legacy one? Using agile for a short project or even outside of software development? This track looks at agile from the product and project perspective.
- Executive & enterprise agility: running one agile team on a new product development is one thing. Scaling it to the enterprise is another. And with ever more agile thinking people in an organization this can stimulate far reaching changes that create new and better ways of working for all. This track explores what executives need to know about agility in the enterprise.
- Open space: dynamic attendee driven sessions that spontaneously come to life during the conference.
